Lighting
4. LIGHTING
You want to set the mood, (if ya know what I mean) and lighting is key! You’ll want to “layer” your lighting, meaning that you should have a variety of light sources that offer different brightness to accommodate for different tasks as well as moods. Dimmable lighting is a wise idea, allowing you to adjust accordingly.
Table lamps on your bedside tables or sconces on either side of the bed are standard, providing light for reading or whatever other fumbling around you might do before bed. Scones tend to be the better option when you have a tighter space. In larger rooms with higher ceilings, chandeliers or other dramatic lighting make for a stunning focal point hanging in the center of the room.
